As an ex-employee at Valley Convalescent I can confirm that this place is not just bad in what these other reviews say but the kitchen manager is just terrible in all ways, shapes, and forms. Always arguing with any of the employees and just was very difficult to work with.

This place is horrible , thankfully I was able to get my Aunt out if there. It stinks, people are left unattended. One lady was sitting right in front of the nurses station eating her shirt and they let her. Can''t be good in her insides.

The living quarters are extremely small with three people sharing a small room. Food is horrible not appealing to sight or taste and not nutritious. The halls smell awful you either smell urine or really strong cleaner and I saw roaches in my loved ones room. Residents seem to be miserable in this place. My loved one got horrible care here he was on hospice and Hospice was wonderful however when my loved one was given a better prognosis this care center was willing to do nothing to assist That my loved one was in a safe place . My loved one was in Medicaid /Medicare and needed assistance this place refused to assist him and my loved one passed away a few months after he was basically patient dumped . I wish the state would close this place for good I only gave one star so I could comment if there was a way to give them a negative 5 stars I would .
Read moreThey’re awful the rooms are tiny and dark they have three people to one small room I have a friend currently living there their food is horrible and the place smells awful. The staff acts like they don’t care about their patients and most of these people do not get visited by anyone .
