Most of the five star reviews of this facility are staff generated. My family member lived here. It was a terrible experience. The staff is rude, hostile, negligent, and unkind. The social worker and administrative team will promise to fix issues brought up through a care plan, but there is no follow through or accountability by leadership. This facility is a dumping ground for folks who have no where else to go and no other facilities will take them. During my visits no other families were present. These seniors are alone and forgotten. The staff and and administration know this. Showers were impossible for my loved one. It would not be days but weeks and sometimes months. Access to fresh air, light, and outside privileges was not permitted unless the resident is a smoker. Laundry went missing. Theft of my loved ones items was pages long. Laundry smells sour, of fecal matter, as if detergent is not used. Often my loved ones items would be hung in another patients room. When I asked why this kept happening when my loved ones name was on their clothing, I was told by the administrator that people in laundry are there for a reason and most cannot read. The halls smell of urine, feces, and unwashed bodies. The staff blames the patients for their disease. Most staff are poorly trained in the diseases they are supposed to manage. I was finally able to move my loved one into a different facility. If you can find any other living facility, I would highly recommend it.

I had a great and wonderful experience since my last visit, which was in 2013. The visit on that day was awful, but the improvement now is way much better. If they continue to pull together like I see that building & place will be picture perfect.
