I have had a friend in this facility for several years. It has deteriorated in many ways. I''m sure Covid had something to do with it. The food used to be much better. Now it is terrible. Nothing innovative about the menus. It''s the same old stuff and just to look at it is not appetizing. It looks like gruel. I think you need a new cook and menus''. I have read that some people think the staff is great. I disagree. They seldom move from behind their desk. Medication is not delivered as it used be. Not much is done to get these people moving and walking when they could be. Sometimes they need to see a Dr. or nurse and that is not always done. So sorry for the people that have to be there.

I have only been here at Troy for a few months but, I can''t say enough about what a great place it is to work. The residents and staff are taken care of very well and Corporate treats you like family and sees to it that we retain staff by making them happy and wanting to work here.
I love the renovation. It''s beautiful. My only concern was not enough staff for my sister.

My father was admitted on Saturday for rehab after his back surgery. Dad is parallelized from the waist down and needs help getting his strength back so he can get in and out of bed. He is also on a medication that he has to take on time every day. The help here has no concern of that and my sister had to take him his medication from home so he would be able to take the pills for his afib. When she got there she said dad was pale and sweating profusely. I''m assuming he was probably in Afib. She gave him his medication and about an hour later he was looking better. If I understand the law correctly its illegal for patience to take there own medicine into a facility like this. If something doesn''t change soon I will be turning them in. He called me this morning crying and telling me to get him out of there!
