Known Covid cases among employees, but only some personnel wore masks, incorrect food trays given to patients, meals were typically an hour later or more than patients were told they would be served (according to the framed poster in the hall), was told diabetic diet meant they get pink or blue sugar packets instead of white ones do patient was given orange juice which raises blood sugar, but told that it was okay because they were giving her insulin, very slow response to call button (lack of employees we were told - so don''t take any more patients), one nurse said CNA is doing rounds and will get there eventually, but she went in and turned the call button off (didn''t help patient though), nurses at desk on phones a lot, but couldn''t be bothered to help patients, when someone called the facility, phone was often not answered even though there were people behind the desks (one said she just couldn''t get up fast enough to get to it, but it rang 8 times before going over to say leave a message which went to some veteran place), PT and OT were pretty good, CNA would rather put a diaper on and change it than get patient up to help rehabilitate them for going to restroom on their own, one time water bottle for oxygen was connected wrong so patient wasn''t getting oxygen, but then, how would they know since they weren''t monitoring it every four hours like they said they would (and four hours is a long time to go without oxygen if you should be on the machine). WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Oh, and two days after I brought my friend home, we both ended up with Covid. Update: - They responded and sent a number to call. I did and you get what amounts to an answering service. She took the information and said to call back on Sept. 2 and they would have a response. Seems to me they should contact me if they want to talk. I called back and gave her my report number; she said there had been no response from corporate yet so I guess they aren''t too concerned.

This place is HORRIBLE! A close friend was in here for rehab, recently. It was a rare occasion that someone came to check on her when she buzzed. She''s diabetic, and they would get patient trays mixed up and give her trays with food she shouldn''t be eating. We kept hearing about how many employees were out sick with Covid, yet few (if any) of the employees wore masks. So, they were going into the patient rooms exposing them. I questioned Dwayne about it, and he admitted that they should all be wearing masks; however, I never saw it enforced. Apparently, they don''t care about protecting their patients; and they seem to not have enough employees to properly take care of the patients. My friend made them test her for Covid before she was discharged last Thursday. They tested her and told her she was negative; however, she tested positive Sunday. Upon testing Sunday, she found out that they were supposed to wait 15 minutes, to read the test results, if it didn''t show an immediate positive result; they did not wait the required amount of time. If you care about your loved one, do NOT let them be placed in this establishment!!!!
