I don''t recommend this place it''s a awful place for your love ones.Rooms not ready or clean upon arrival for admission. The staff don''t bath the residents or even have hot water in their rooms they have a bathroom where they bath them that only has hot water but for the 3 weeks my dad was there I would go every day for a couple of hours and I had to take him a bath myself because they wouldn''t and I didn''t see any other resident be bath by no one the restroom was next to my dad''s room and those 3 weeks I didn''t see anyone going in for a bath but did see staff going in by themselves probably to be on their phone. Also I would ring the bell for help they would take forever to come they would do that by me being there and probably they don''t even show up at all.Oh and one more important thing my dad fell two times and no body even know nothing he had bruises and scratches. They probably don''t even tell the other family that their love ones fall they just keep it to themselves. This place should be shut down!

I went in Sunday morning with my grandma, mother, and sister to visit my grandpa. We started walking down the hall and saw my grandpa sitting in a chair. We went to talk to him to find he was unconscious. We asked for help and was told that “Of courses hes not responding, he’s 88 years old.” Which we then explained that we were usually at least able to get his eyes open even if they were to close again the next second. We knew something was wrong so we (and another nurse) started to ask for assistance. Two people who claimed to be from PT started walking down the hall so we asked for help. The lady in maroon scrubs responded, “That’s not my patient” and the nurse helping us said “Well, we need help, can you help us?” The lady then replied, “It doesn’t matter, that’s not my patient.” This upset my grandma and the rest of us. We were refused help. My grandma said, “Excuse me, that’s my husband.” The lady in scrubs tried to reverse her verbiage by saying “well it does matter” and then tried to justify her disregard. She then walked away, and made comments while walking down the hall which is very unprofessional. All in all, this may seem like just a “poor experience,” but this is someone’s life we are talking about here. We did not receive help for a long time after realizing my grandpa was unconscious. The other concern is the fact that it wasn’t alarming to anyone else that he was unresponsive. If we didn’t show up at the time we did, who knows what would have happened. Lastly, per the reviews on google I read after this interaction, I am even more concerned about my grandpa and other people’s safety at this facility.

I''ve been with towneast for a year now and I absolutely love it even through the hardest times for everyone dealing with covid-19 I''ve never seen staff pull together as a team and work so hard to make sure our patients are cared for mentally emotionally and physically that''s also including the Administrator , Don, Adon, everyone got out on the floor and worked with us when we needed the help. Towneast will definitely make you feel like family and I am so happy to have found a job I can call my second home lol. The residents are my heart they are what makes me strive to be a better caregiver and friend ❤

Staff left window open overnight in Mom''s room in 40-degree weather. The bitterly cold wind was blowing directly on her all night. Mom died 4 days later from pneumonia. Town East never bothered to give her antibiotics or even have a doctor evaluate her condition. Wouldn''t want to leave my dog there, much less a person. AVOID!!!
