TimberView Crossing Assisted Living was very nice and we liked it. It seemed to fit well. It had private rooms with a little kitchenette, which was what we wanted. They were very friendly, and we pretty much liked everything about it. It was clean and it didn't have any kind of bad odors. We liked the carpeting that they have. We looked at the menu, and it looked like they served good meals. The staff who toured us was very nice and very friendly. We liked her.

My husband was in Timber View Crossing. They were short staffed, but it's a comfortable place and friendly. When he first got there, it was very good. The director there left, and she'd been there for many, many years. She left the place, and it just kind of went downhill. People were quitting, and people were getting fired. Then they were short staffed. So it was hard; but for the most part, things went really smooth until the last six weeks. They didn't report falls, and I couldn't keep an eye on my husband or a lot of the other patients; that's unfortunate. He liked the staff for the most part. A couple were unpleasant to him and to me, but most of the staff was extremely caring. It was clean. The rooms were large. It was nice. It's nothing fancy, but it's just warm and comfortable. They had nice sectional sofas and stuff by a large TV, which is right by the front door (I guess you'd call that a sitting room). They have an outside porch and a parking lot. People could sit out there with their wheelchairs and such.

My grandmother is currently at TimberView. We have never been in a place. It's still locked up because of COVID; we have never been inside the building. They just started outside visitations like two weeks ago. I think she went there in April. The outside is fairly well kept and clean. It's a pretty place; it's a brick building. Her biggest complaint is the food. She said the food is atrocious, but I have no way of knowing. The staff all seem to be very kind. Some she likes better than others. When we take stuff out there to her, they come out and get it. She has a private room, it's just one room. Activities are limited right now. Really, they don't have anything. They just try to do get-together and bingo, but they are so limited. We talked to her on the phone everyday.
