I am a former employee of the Waterford of Baytown. I was employed for 3 years. My first year i worked the floor with just myself and the med tech. Needless to say we were very understaffed. They have had several different staff members and several directors. No one can be as uncaring to the residents or staff. The first thing she did was have the wall of honor removed by the mailboxes. That was to honor the people who were unlisted to keep our country safe ect. That was very disrespectful to those individuals. Her excuse was they were going to repaint. She has been there over five months and have yet to paint. She had caregivers get a food handlers license so they could go in the kitchen. In the past by other directors we were told that was cross contaminate. Doesn’t matter how much you wash your hands, there could be urine on the caregivers clothes and anything they stepped in when in residents room. She treats former staff that come in to get paperwork they need from the facility like criminals. She has informed the management not to talk to former employees. Now that I am not employed there I am having a hard time getting HR department to return my phone calls or text about my W2. All the other employees that are still on staff got theirs in January. I may not be an employee but I deserve the same courtesy as those that are. I can not afford to be to be in trouble with the IRS because management are deciding to be bullies. If they treat staff like that how are they treating the residents? Give me my W2 Sarah Lopez.

Good place with friendly staff.
My loved on lived at The Waterford at Baytown for 2 years. She had positive experiences and made good memories. Sherma is an absolute angel of caregiver.
