My husband moved to The Village at Ocotillo. There were several things why we chose this place. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Every room is nice. There were a variety of things available. There was an in-house PT, there was a nurse available, and all the things we were looking for were there. I've eaten with my husband many times and the food is on par with a very nice hotel. They have exercise during the week in the mornings. They have movie theaters and a happy hour with someone either singing or playing an instrument at 3:00 on two days a week. They have many activities. They have a van that will take you places and anywhere you want to go.

We're at The Village at Ocotillo. This is a great community. We're very happy with everything we've seen. The maintenance crew up to the management are extremely helpful, caring, and friendly. We love the access to having doctors and associated services come right to our apartment. We've used the physical therapy and occupational therapy. We've had x-rays done in our room and it's very convenient. There's also a van to take us to doctor's appointments. They have some special things they do two days a week. They have many activities and I at least partake in those. My husband has been ill. He hasn't been quite as active as I have been. It's a beautiful community. The dining service is excellent. It's like eating in a fancy restaurant and the food is delicious every meal. I can't say a bad thing about it, from the maintenance, to the housekeeping, to the management, and all the caring caregivers. We have caregivers 24/7, and they are so helpful and willing to help with anything and they're available with the tap of our wrist. Everything is kept up. If you have any problem in your apartment, maintenance is right there to help you and take care of you. I highly recommend them.

I'm at The Village at Ocotillo. It's very good. The food is good. The caregivers are very good. There's a lot of things to do. They have a lot of events going on. They do a lot of them just every day. They have chair volleyball. There's a really good exercise program and there's a bible study. They're doing a new paint job and they're putting new carpeting in, but they haven't started that yet. The place is very nice.

I'm at The Village at Ocotillo. It's been pretty good. It was a little rough at first. It provides meals and a place to stay and some services that I was taking care of myself before. They provide meals and a little housekeeping. There's plenty of things to do and they have lots of activities planned. There's more than enough for me to do. I do an exercise class six days a week, and I try to make them all. The staff is pretty good. The food is pretty decent. There were some days when there's food I don't want to eat, and there are lots of choices.

It is not the largest in the area, but you feel the individual care that is offered. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable, seeing to your needs. There are so many different verities of activities, you can find what interest you the most. We are encouraged to leave our apartments to be a part of the community, but never pushed to do so. There is a good mix of gender, age groups, abilities that it is easy to find a place where you are comfortable.
