My father has been here for going on 4 weeks. Everyone has been very professional and friendly. It''s a beautiful environment compared to most. I visit most days. The staff work very hard to care for him and all the others.

I worked at the Timbers as a receptionist and I have never seen one resident ever get mistreated, harmed, or get incorrect food. I used to go get the residents from their room, lounge area, activities, outside garden area, or they hang out around the nurse''s station talking with other residents. The activities director and the staff worked long hard hours to make sure the residents had something to do whether it was coloring, manicures, playing games outside (Name that tune, or just singing. I have seen the activities of doing popcorn for movie day or playing bingo in the hallway or at the dining hall. I loved the residents and miss them very much. The ones I do not miss are some of the disrespectful family members that come in and are so rude and nasty. I got yelled at because the sprinkler system was on 🤷🏼♀️ I have no control over that or their loved one curtains closed or loved one not answering their phone. I would get up from my area and walk down to the room and 99.9% of the time their loved was napping, resting or just did not want to be bothered. Don''t get me wrong not all of the resident''s family members were disrespectful because I have met some of the sweetness and nicest people there. I still keep in contact with them today 😄 Would I go back and work there again... Answer is yes. The reason I left was I chose to be a stay at home grandma ⭐

I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last possible option.I wish I could pick zero stars. The administrator caused so much more pain on my family than what we were already going through. If you care even a little do not put your loved ones here. They often leave the patients alone in there room because they’re always short staffed. This caused my loved on to passed sooner than expected. So much more pain because of this place ..
