They have a lot of fun with it.

I'm going to have two small bedrooms there, but a bed fits, a dresser, and you can walk around the bed comfortably to make it. So, it's an acceptable apartment. It's nice and clean. They're doing a lot of accommodations like ceiling fans. What's a bonus is they have a storage room that you can rent for $30 on-premises, which is reasonable, and they're allowing me to put in pull-out shelves because I can't bend over. They have a laundry facility and very nice storage. I think I'm going to be very, very happy there. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. They knew me by name when I came there. The girls were having an activity and they addressed me right away by my name and seemed to be tuned in to who I was and that I was coming. I thought that was very commendable. They have delicious food. I had two meals there and I was very pleased. They have something, too, that I haven't seen offered anywhere else. One morning they had egg benedict, another morning they had biscuits and gravy, and then they have the regular menu. The cafeteria is open all day for the daily menu where you can go down and you get to eat all the time and then they have their special foods.

My mother will be staying at the Terraces of Roseville for respite care. As soon as I walked in, it just felt good. The people at the front desk were always very helpful and sweet. Chris, the marketing person, was very sweet and helpful. They had church services there, Christian Bible study, and Christian gospel singing. Every time we went there the residents were very active. I loved the dog play area; I thought that was a really cool place. The dining area looked pretty. The only knock down is they didn't have a room that was decorated at the time of our visit.

I was very impressed with The Terraces of Roseville. The staff gave me information on how to finance my dad's housing when he gets to assisted living. It was nice. It was probably the place I would have chosen for my dad. That's just because they also include assisted living and the price was more affordable than the other place. I didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff, but those that I did interact with were very nice. The rooms were nice. However, the studio apartments felt more like hotel rooms than actual apartments. I didn't like the idea that instead of having a regular-sized refrigerator, they had just a mini fridge and it was on the floor. With an elderly person trying to bend down and use that refrigerator, it would be pretty difficult. I liked the other rooms. It was just their studio apartment was a little bit too small and not as user-friendly as an apartment. The atmosphere seemed very friendly. It was nice that they have a dog park area in the middle of their community. The nice thing, too, was that all of their garden areas were enclosed. You had to be a resident there or know a resident to get into the common areas. It was nice that the dogs don't have to be on a leash in this dog park area that they have. The lady who was talking to me called me a couple of times afterward. She was very informative. Whenever I had questions, she would answer them. I told her that we were going to go see another place. She called me afterward to ask how it had gone. I thought that was very nice. She reached out. That impressed me. If my dad had not chosen the other place, I probably would have chosen The Terraces for him just because of her. Some residents took the time to talk to me about the place and how wonderful it was. It was perfectly clean and everything, but it just felt like there were areas that probably needed a facelift or a little remodel, just to make it look fresh again. It seemed like a very nice community. I was impressed that it was in a nice area. It wasn't right on the street, so it was quiet when you went in there. It was the very first place I went to go see, so I was kind of in awe of everything.

The Terraces of Roseville was really nice. It felt really welcoming. It gave us a homey vibe. The staff was willing to give us more information about everything and go into details. The accommodations were very spacious. I saw a studio and an apartment. They would provide three meals a day. They have trips to the doctor. They get out once a month or something like that, so they don't have to just stay in the building. They can have visitors at any time.
