Jeremiah was so welcoming and toured me around the campus of The Summit. It''s like being on a Cruise Ship! So many offerings to their residents in a bright and beautiful property, conveniently tucked into the heart of Ft. Myers. I love the a la carte options they offer to support the needs of their residents, as needed or desired. Thanks Jeremiah!
Read moreIt is a nice clean place, but I have seen the menu for next year, and the residents are not happy about the radical reduction of choices that are scheduled to begin in January. Such a shame considering how much they improved the quality of life there last year. Apartments are quite comfortable .

I will be moving into the Summit of Fort Myers. It was a beautiful place and the people were very friendly. The apartment was nice-sized. I was looking at a two-bedroom. They had activities for people. The food was very, very good. They showed me the pool area. They showed me several different apartments, the activity rooms, and the dining room. The staff was very friendly. They have buses to take people to the stores or doctors' appointments.

I went to The Summit of Fort Myers. It's a smaller facility all around, it's one building, but it was in good shape, well-maintained, and had good amenities. So, I liked the facility, and all that, just fine. Jeremiah did the tour, he was excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. It looked like they were very well organized and had many different types of amenities. People were friendly, and it was well-maintained. Everything looked fine. The problem with the summit is that it is an independent living facility, but they have no permission whatsoever to help a person in the event of a catastrophe. They made it very clear that you're on your own. If you have to evacuate, off you go. I didn't like that at all.
