This Place Horribe they don’t treat their residents good they don’t treat their workers good it’s they have their full of bugs bedbugs it’s a whole bunch of neglect going on around there and if I advise you if you have any family members there, get them up out of there they don’t have enough food to feed the residents. Some of them don’t even eat because lack of food they never have laundry detergent. Just please if you got family member there get them up out of there. Find a better nursing home or assisted living because I’m telling you if I have y’all seen what goes there they got people with all type of bad backgrounds, real bad backgrounds they got people under the influence taken care of residence it is so ghetto I swear, and if your family members telling y’all something please believe in there in there please believe me cause I ain’t lieing the state needs to go in there and get down to the bottom of it for real for real

My aunt has moved into the Rutherford Assisted Living. Of course, she would rather be at home if she was able to be. She is in a shared room with a resident there, and she would probably prefer her own room, but other than that, she has freedom to come and go. We can go get her and take her places and stuff. She is OK with the cafeteria food. She hadn't really complained about much other than that she'd just rather be at home. They have a piano and she plays piano. She mingles well with all the other people, and I think it's an OK thing for her. They're pretty open to visitors. We've been there several times, and I've never seen anything that would be alarming or anything. I feel she's OK there. She is safe there. The staff have always been nice. They have always been good to me, like the cafeteria workers, the people at front, and the lady who gave the tour. The maintenance is a different story. There are some things they could work on, but they just kind of let go. Particularly in my aunt's room there's a vent, and it does like a lot of rattling noises going on. I don't really know if my aunt has complained or not. She thinks she is a bother if she complains. I would think they would need to fix that, but they just haven't. It's really loud and noisy. The reason why she is there is they were the only ones that were at the price that she could get in at. Most of them are very expensive. It's still kind of expensive, but it's all she could work with really. She has to share a room with someone, but they're still reasonable.

As a former employee of the Rutherford who left I can let you know now that this place needs to be shut down the residents are not care for correctly it is bedbugs and roaches infested which you can look up poorly ran and very much so understaffed that all residents cannot be properly cared for. We were always told when the family was coming in to make sure that we were looking like we were doing something from nurse Brooke and Vicky Sims . The owner Joy does not care about the facility or the people that work there as long as she is she’s making money it doesn’t matter to her. They have an employee working there named Charlie who has been abusing patients physically and all staff is aware of it and nothing has been done and he is still currently working there. So before you choose this place Id think again
