The Reserve at East Longmeadow: Rethinking the Senior Living Experience
The Reserve at East Longmeadow asks seniors and their families to reframe their image of senior living. This isn’t downsizing; it’s supersizing your life. Residents choose how to spend each day — they might wake up to morning exercise in the fitness center, a stroll around the picturesque grounds, or a made-to-order breakfast in the dining room. Afternoons are filled with resident-sponsored clubs, billiards games, and art classes, while nighttimes are devoted to happy hour socials, live entertainment, and movie nights.
Complimentary transportation means residents have lots of fun outside the community, too. You might see these vibrant seniors exploring an ill-fated ship’s history at the Titanic Historical Society, visiting Echo Hill Orchards & Winery for a sip of their latest red, or heading to Forest Park to experience 735 acres of lakes, streams, and gentle walking paths.

Our 89 y/o mom has recently moved into assisted living at The Reserve. The Director, Nicole, has made this transition very stress -free for us with her amazing knowledge, and she is always available to answer questions with sincere care and concern. We are also very impressed with the Aides and how they help mom any time she is in need day or night. They are absolutely fabulous! In addition, when you need a nurse someone is always available to help! Lastly the activity director is amazing she tries to get mom involved in all the many many activities they have there. Mom has met many friends and is doing well for someone who understandably didn’t want to leave her home, a great place to choose!

We recently moved my father into the Memory Care Unit at The Reserve. One of the events that made the day so much brighter for our family was a lunch that was arranged for us in the private dining room. Luis, the Director of Dining, went above and beyond to make us feel special. The food was truly amazing! Please accept our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the extra care and concern you showed to our family. Thank you, Luis and the dining room staff, for such a warm welcome! Dad has eaten so much better since having moved into The Reserve.

I can''t share enough positive thoughts about ''The Reserve'' in East Longmeadow. Our father has reached a point where living on his own in a 4 bedroom two story home at 80 years old was no longer going to be safe for him. From my first call into ''The Reserve'' I spoke with Nicole LaFleur, the Sales & Marketing Director, and she was incredible across the board, and continues to shine with the infectious energy she brings to every day. Jordana is just as special with her caring aura, and genuine ''kind soul'' energy, who like Nicole, focuses on her daily tasks as if she is giving 110% to every day. AnnaMarie has also been truly special working my father''s floor and being so patient, loving and caring. Jolene has also been a shining star as his assigned nurse, and Annette at the front desk is truly amazing as well. If you are exploring assisted living or memory care, they have one side for assisted living and one side for memory care. The property was built in 2014, but they have had some recent renovations which has ''The Reserve'' as clean and modern as a flawless 5 star property. The decor is beautiful, the ceilings are high, with floor to ceiling windows, and beautiful foliage in every direction. The property is second to none in Western MA, but nothing has blown our family away more than the unparalleled staff here. When a family is going through this level of stress and anxiety "uprooting" a parent from their 50 year home, where they are losing their independence without a car etc., it can be a roller coaster ride, with good days and not so good days. It takes a valiant effort to drive comfort to our loved one during this transition. I truly think Nicole, Jordana, and the rest of the staff here should be recognized on a national level, where they create a blueprint on how to execute the most effective best practices when it comes to senior care. The entire staff feels like they were sent here from above to be in this role, which requires so much genuine love, care, patience, and composure. Out father has his Doctorate in Special Education, and my late mother was a nurse in a nursing home for 25 years, and truly loved her job, where I have been blessed with two incredible parents, and this entire experience here with passing the baton to ''The Reserve'' team has felt like they have quickly become an extension of our family, keeping our father safe and giving him unconditional love daily. They are truly ''salt of the earth'', bringing consistency and a warm heartfelt smile to every day, as if their job was their calling. Don''t hesitate for one moment to come meet the staff and current residents, and tour the property.. My father''s favorite time of the day is when he is served a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner by a Chef. There is a gym, and various activities taking place to drive that pivotal brain exercise, complementing the human interaction, with residents who have so much depth and substance on their life resume, personally and professionally. Thank you to ''The Reserve'' staff for over-delivering across the board for my father at your incomparable property!

My mother moved into the Reserve at East Longmeadow. We chose it because of the 24-hour care that they have. The property is a beautiful facility. It doesn't look like a nursing home or assisted living. It looks like a big condo complex. The activities are OK, but they're not as many as I would have thought. The place is properly kept up and it's continually being updated. They just renovated it again.
