My tour at The Pointe at Pontiac was good, but the problem with that was that it's probably 400 square feet, and it just wasn't enough room. To move from a big house into this suportive living place, it was too small. It's a really nice place, but it was just too small for what I need...
My tour at The Pointe at Pontiac was good, but the problem with that was that it's probably 400 square feet, and it just wasn't enough room. To move from a big house into this suportive living place, it was too small. It's a really nice place, but it was just too small for what I need now. They provide all of your meals, snacks, and meds, but it was too drastic of a move from my big house to this. The administrator that I spoke with was very nice and knowledgeable. This place was newly built in 2009/2010, so it was immaculate. I had been to other nursing homes, and this one was a lot cleaner and nicer, so that made a difference. They have a wonderful activity director and they always have something going on, which is a plus. They're very accommodating.
