Formerly Advantage Living Center, this place is to be avoided at all costs. My father and sister were there. Items were missing that could have only been taken by staff. When I asked the CNA''s (there were three of them) for assistance to reposition my sister, they just ignored my request. There were some good employees, but the bad ones were too many. There are so many bad stories it could fill a book.

My sister in law was there on hospice. We visited her Sunday May 1st and found her unresponsive laying in old urine with a sodden diaper down around her thighs, and ants crawling on her. I had been hoping to move her to another facility because the place is filthy with a horrible smell. When I contacted the head nurse with my concerns about her condition and the fact that I thought she was dying , she seemed annoyed , defensive and dubious of my claim that she was dying. We got her cleaned up and left as soon as we got home we got a call that she had passed. I can''t help but wonder if we wouldn''t have been there on Sunday how long would It have been before they found her dead. She was not allowing the staff to touch her , so we came up weekly to weigh her ( she wasn''t eating ) take her blood pressure and bathe her if she allowed it. I think the staff just quit checking on her. When the hospital suggested hospice it was the only nursing home to accept her with her limited finances .
