The Ivy at Watertown is the perfect place. I would highly recommend them, in fact, we've got someone else who's moving in next week. The care services during the week are a 5/5, but on the weekend they are short-staffed. My relative needs assistance getting in his bed and pulling the covers up, but sometimes they don't come because they are busy with other people. He's also very weak and would like someone to walk him to his room, but they can't provide that because they don't have enough people. The staff, however, are very lovely caring people. The food is very good; my relative can't chew very well so sometimes the food is a little al dente, but he loves the variety. I think they had pork ribs today and he loves their pork ribs. They have such a good variety that sometimes I look at the menu to get an idea of what I should have supper. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy available if needed and open occupational therapy that you can go to in the gym. He goes to the music activities and most of the other stuff. There's a lot of things he does and some things he's too tired for. I think it's a fantastic and great place.

We love The Ivy. My mom was made to feel very welcome when she got there. They had some of the existing residents take her around and eat with her. And she says everybody is so friendly and nice. She really likes the food. There's a good variety, and she enjoys that they serve ice cream. The facility itself is beautiful. We looked at quite a few different places, and this was one of the better ones, and a good value comparatively.

This is a brand new community. There is a exercise classes for the residents currently. They also have other activities for the residents to choose from. They have a grill area for summer time use. The Ivy is allowing visits indoors. If the community has a positive COVID test, then they will move visits outside. I was able to see my loved one, during the 14 day quarantine period during moving in.
