In late April, my mother, who lived alone, was admitted to the hospital, dealing with several medical conditions. The doctors determined she could no longer live alone. Two weeks later she was transferred to 'Accordius' rehabilitation facility, where she received excellent care and excellent physical therapy. It was then determined that she was ready for an assisted living. 'Accordius' recommended 'The Ivy at Clemmons'. The very next day the social worker from 'The Ivy' met with my family and me at 'Accordius'. The social worker, [name removed] , explained in detail, all of the amenities and benefits of 'The Ivy'. Some of which include weekly doctor check ups, a nurse, med tech, and CNA's on 24 hour duty. Very please with what we heard, [name removed] insisted we tour the facility that very day. She showed us around the building, the lounges, the dinning room, the living quarters, laundry room, salon, and more. What stood out most was the cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff.
