I have seen so much in this place it is amazing how the staff treats everyone. Even the case worker Stacey and Rachel they care so much they are really vested in their jobs and makes residents feel like people really care. And the food isn''t terrible it''s actually very good. The varieties are great and if people really don''t like something you have choices. If you are looking for great care for your loved one or you need rehab for any reason then you can''t go wrong going to The Hills in Decatur Come check it out!!!!!Texas. The director Janelle Dillon runs a great ship the activities director Veronica Johnson comes up with great stuff to do that are really fun and she does one on one''s that really are fitting each person!! Come look at it you won''t regret it!! There is one more thing you need to know if you are looking for a rehab facility you can''t go wrong with the Hills between Sharin , Phillip and Ashley and Stephanie all your needs are meet and at the highest of standers I couldn''t move my wheelchair now my legs and arms are so much stronger that I''m too fast sometimes not only did they help with the problem I came in with but my quality of life has improved!!!!!!! Thank you everyone at the Hills from maintenance to the director to activities and office staff you won''t find a bad soul there I''m so glad that''s were we decided to put me love you all

Following two lengthy back surgeries and several different rehab facilities our mama/Nanny required 24-hour skilled nursing care. Following two lengthy back surgeries and several different rehab facilities our mama/Nanny required 24-hour skilled nursing care. The Hills Nursing & Rehab was not able to take her at that time so she was admitted to another facility. Within one month of being there she became malnourished, overmedicated, mostly bed fast and miserable - she had lost her will to live. In December of 2019 we worked hard to get her into The Hills because we had heard so many good things about them - EVERY SINGLE POSITIVE THING WE HAD HEARD WAS ABSOLUTELY TRUE!! She is now much healthier and more active and we couldn’t be happier with her level of care. We haven’t met a staff member yet who didn’t seem to love the residents. I communicate on a weekly basis with staff members, i.e.: nursing directors, nurses, activities director, etc., regarding my mama’s care and they are always eager and willing to discuss how we can do anything to make things better for her. You can go on their Facebook page and see the posts they do of fun activities, both indoor and out, their yummy meals, etc. The facility is always being improved aesthetically so it looks nice and we have NEVER walked in when it didn’t look and smell fresh and clean. They have worked tirelessly through this awful COVID-19 pandemic to keep all residents safe. In case you couldn’t tell, we love The Hills Nursing & Rehab and highly recommend it for anyone who needs short-term rehab or long-term skilled nursing care – they’re the best!!

I Have worked at the Hills for a number of years, I have had my mother and my aunt both here for therapy. I could not have asked for a better team of professionals taking care of both of them during their stay. I work with the most amazing nurses, managers, housekeepers, laundry,dietary CNA and corp staff here than any company i have ever worked for. the support system is amazing. It truly is like an extended family. Our resident and their families become our families as well. I am very blessed and thankful to be a part of this amazing group of individuals.
Read moreI''ve been here for a little over 2 weeks for rehab. All of the staff from aides to directors have been wonderful and very caring. They cleaned the room daily and thoroughly. I can''t say enough good things about the care they give. If you need rehab I highly recommend The Hills.
