Residents wishing to pay for assisted living or memory care with Medicaid must qualify for a Medicaid waiver through the state of Ohio. Residents of The Heritage must meet the waiver program’s eligibility requirements to qualify, providing a monthly benefit to pay for daily care services. Medicaid waivers will not pay for room and board.

The Heritage is committed to keeping staff and residents safe from the novel coronavirus disease, implementing a range of precautions designed to minimize the spread of infection on campus.

As vaccines become available, the community is working diligently to provide treatment to all staff and residents. As the community approaches herd immunity, features like in-person tours and group events will return. In the meantime, staff and residents are expected to wear masks during group activities and maintain social distancing protocol.
