Staff personnel are great! They care about their patients! This review reflects management, specifically, billing. They have been over billing my mother-in-law''s stay since day one. They keep sending us a monthly bill with an astronomical amount that is absolutely incorrect! We''ve tried countless times to get this corrected, to no avail. The lady handled this knew there was a billing problem and was trying to get it corrected, but quit in frustration over management before she could get it right. Then Dan came along and didn''t care. Our attorney has tried to resolve this, but no one from management responded. We know the accurate amount. It''s not difficult to figure out. When they do their job and get us the correct final amount, they''ll get paid. I know what they did. They failed to bill medicaid retroactive. Don''t go here because management is terrible! If you have no choice, KEEP ACCURATE RECORDS!!

Unbelievably poor conditions. Do not send someone you love to this place. My mother was here briefly, and we had to pull her out and move her into our home because she was not being cared for. I believe if we hadn’t pulled her out, she would have died at the Grove. My mother was hospitalized for two weeks prior to being discharged and sent to the Grove. She had lost almost 100lbs and was very weak; she went there to receive physical therapy and skilled nursing to regain strength. My mother was a fall risk and needed help getting to the bathroom; she would ring for a nurse and it would typically take an hour for someone to come assist her, which sometimes resulted in her soiling herself, which is humiliating. On one occasion, the soiled sheets were not changed for two days. She fell twice while she was there trying to get herself to the bathroom. The tub was broken in her room, so she couldn’t bathe. The bed was broken and it wouldn’t raise/lower. She requested a hot water heating pad for her back, also broken. The food was disgusting, so she ate very little and continued losing weight. I went to visit her on Mother’s Day, and she (and the nurse on duty who worked a double shift) told me that there was no heat the night before (apparently they turned the boiler off, not expecting it to get down in the 30s in May), and my mother was stiff from being so cold all night. I called and the woman in the office called me a liar. We overheard staff members making fun of an elderly patient in the hallway, while we were visiting. The nurses will tell you they are overwhelmed and the aides stand outside and smoke cigarettes all day. Unbelievable. Complete lack of care. My heart breaks for the poor people who have no other option than to be in this horrible place. If there was an option for zero stars, I would give the Grove zero stars.

Poorly ran facility by miserable and unprofessional management who don’t know how to manage. The owner Sam pockets all the money instead of using it for better profits such as paying their employees or providing better care for the residents. Stacy Kolbe is one of the worst administrators I have ever seen. They over work their staff and pay them little to nothing. Understaffed everyday. The residents get disgusting food and then no food after they serve snacks. The place is very unclean and has multiple rats in the basement where the food is stored and in the kitchen. As a person who has worked here, I wouldn’t consider putting your loved ones here. I would rate zero stars if I could.

The administrator is very rude and abuses her authority as an administrator. She points fingers and wrongfully accuses workers of false accusations. I would never put my love one in such a rude, and disgustingly ran facility. The way it’s ran is beyond ridiculous. they except 1 aide to 22 residents sometimes so there is NO WAY your loved one can get all the care that they need. I truly don’t recommend this place as somewhere to put your loved one. YOU''VE BEEN WARNED☺️
