I've toured this community several times and have had the pleasure of getting to know the staff quite well as I work with the senior/elder community. It is always clean, calm and inviting when I am there. The staff are engaged with residents that seem happy, too. The memory care director, [name removed], has been with the community for several years which says a lot - as longevity and stability is important in this business when working with aging adults. He seems to really care for his residents and their well-being/wellness. [name removed], the sales director, is awesome and very passionate about what she does. The community is in a classic location with great views and the price point is really great for what you get. The Gardens would definitely receive my blessing if a loved-one was considering moving here.
Read moreWe toured with Gardens of Scottsdale and they were very high up on our list, we liked the facility a lot. The only downfall was that it was not a memory care specific facility. We felt better with out loved one being in a memory care only facility.
Our family had a virtual tour with Gardens of Scottsdale and the staff members we met with were excellent, we thought it was a great tour experience and they were great with our loved ones.
The attitude toward the residents from the caregivers is very cheerful and caring and they take the time to learn the peoples names. I just think this team is impressive. I like my apartment and the food is very good.
The cleanliness, and friendliness is pretty good. They have a lot of activities. It's a nice facility. They need to improve on management. They have really good caregivers but there is issues with the management. The house cleaning staff is good.

In general, I feel the managers and caregivers are very hard working and had much compassion for my mother''s stay there as well as the many other residents. Because of the pandemic and other factors involving my mother''s diminishing health, the caregivers were not able to spend as much time with her as I would have liked or hoped for, but it was understandable due to the conditions. In conclusion, The Gardens staff tries their best to make the residents feel safe and at home there.
