Dear Jane Woloson (Executive Director at The Gardens at St. Elizabeth), This note is a letter of appreciation. My sister Louise became a resident in Level 4 Assisted Living at The Gardens in early January, 2022. At that time she was, frankly and to say the least, in very poor condition, both physically and mentally. Because of this, my brother John and I (Louise''s POAs for all her affairs, medical and financial) were extremely concerned and doubtful about her prospects for the future. However, we were assured by several members of the staff, most notably Melissa Santistevan and Aram, and other beautiful and caring people on the medical and therapy teams, that we would see a big turn-around in 3-6 months. I confess that at that time I was the proverbial doubting Thomas, but ... over the next 6 months John & I witnessed an absolutely unbelievable positive transformation - gradual at first, then picking up steam, as at an exponential rate, so that within 6 months a miracle had occurred: My sister transformed into being physically active and psychologically satisfied and happy with her new life! Physically, from barely able to get around in her walker, to walking with no aids! And psychologically, from a dejected and morose person, to actually being happier than I have ever seen her in my entire life! Louise had a tough childhood, and I can honestly say I am now seeing a happy, relaxed and content side of her I have never seen before. Indeed, John and I believe this may very well be the best time in Louise''s life! To merely say thank you is an embarrassing understatement of my feelings, but I have no better words than to say thank you a thousand times! Most Sincerely, Dan Cortney PS I do not post on FB or Google, so please feel free to use any or all of the above for public consumption. PPS I love your newsletters!

As an older single female, Gardens at St. Elizabeth is the only place I want to live after checking out many similar campuses for seniors. It’s safe, has fantastic amenities and lots of activities, great food and — most importantly — the employees are genuinely kind and super friendly. I also love the historic chapel and social aspects of this campus, plus the fact that my pet also is welcome. Can’t recommend highly enough to my friends!

Our 80+ year old mother has been in independent living at the Gardens for the last year. We would recommend this place to any and ALL of our friends and family. The staff is caring, extremely competent and many have been there for years! It is small enough so that she is able to meet and know other residents with ease. They offer 6-8 daily activities, interesting field trips, trips to the grocery store, trips to local restaurants, and activities on-site, her favorite activities are bingo, daily mass and monthly trips to Central City. This was the best move for our mother to allow her to age in grace and with independence. We LOVE the staff and our mother is safe and well loved and cared for at the Gardens.
