The Sales and Marketing Directors were most helpful in getting me settled in my new "home." My fellow residents are friendly and helpful as well. I can''t ask for a more convenient location. The Forum seems to near or accessible to everywhere I need to go.

My father was in the skilled nursing home. The care was woefully inadequate. He was provided a defective wheelchair and sustained broken vertebrae. The staff was composed of a few licensed staff and various assistants who were not qualified. Our family removed him from the facility and found out that he had more time to improve when he received the proper treatment. My father was a dentist who even with a brain tumor and dementia, far surpassed the owner’s in intelligence and compassion. I thought this was the worst place in the world.

This is primarily a review of memory care. See Yelp review for details/pictures. As a geropsychologist myself, I cannot imagine how The Forum thinks they are doing anything but warehousing patients. My father’s clothing had constant food spills; his glasses were not given to him most days; meds were administered incorrectly; he lost clothing and towels despite the clear labels; his face and clothes had food on them after meals; no activities that I saw engaged the patients (mostly a circle of patients sleeping in wheelchairs while being lectured on some topic or other); feces on bathroom floor for hours despite requests to clean; father being called “a good boy” by unit director. Had to ask specifically for showers. Independent living was generally good but memory care is awful.

I am a relatively new resident, having moved in December, 2021. I would recommend The Forum to my friends and family. The residents and staff are friendly, and the cuisine is outstanding. The Maintenance and Housekeeping staffs go above and beyond to insure that The Forum is well-maintained and is very clean. The Forum Management is very friendly and is very responsive to our needs. I am happy living here.
