My mom is at The Enclave of East Louisville. It is a beautiful place, it's newer, it's clean, and it's very welcoming. She has a one-bedroom unit and we're very pleased with the amount of space and the closet space. We're pleased with the entire facility. The staff at the enclave are very caring, very warm people, and they are more than happy to do what they need to do to get the resident happy and adjusted into the new community. My mom would not do activities before, and she has gone for activities from 10:00 in the morning until 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon. She is enjoying her experience. They play bingo left, right, center, they have chair yoga, and chair exercises. They also have arts and crafts, and they have a happy hour. They have a resident council, and they have activities out to restaurants, and to a grocery store. She likes the food.

My brother is going to The Enclave of East Louisville. I've been there. It's very nice. They have a nice facility; it's very bright and airy. Light comes in at the front of the building, and it's got a nice, hotel-like atmosphere. The rooms were quite nice, and they have five levels of personal care. He's probably in level four, and he will receive a lot of personal care and attention. The only person I talked to was the sales representative, and she gave me a tour. I talked to the people who worked there about the food, they said they liked it. They ate there pretty much every day for lunch, and they said the food is pretty good. I looked at a studio apartment. It was clean, well maintained, and a fairly good-size studio.

My dad is in The Enclave of East Louisville. The staff is friendly, and they seem to be good. It is clean. It is not as new as the last place he was in. It is an older unit and so is the building, but it is in good shape and is maintained. He is in a studio room with a bathroom and that is it. They provide cable and food. Our neighbor's mother was there, so it was a lot about referrals over location to us.

After visiting Symphony at Oaklawn 5 times, we felt like the community met my mother's needs because she was adamant about staying close to home and they have a courtyard for dogs, which she brought. The activities were another reason we chose the place, so she really enjoys what is offered at the community. She is very social and loves doing stuff with little groups, so it's been a big help in transitioning her in and getting her comfortable. I met the Community Relations Director and he is great, but really the entire management have all have been very helpful. She is eating very well, so she seems to like the food and I am satisfied with the service she receives during dining. Housekeeping does a fantastic job with keeping the place clean and tidy, I think they even take the trash out twice a day, which is a quite a bit. Maintenance services did come in to help with cables and remove assistance bars from the previous tenant, but in general it's a nice community and I think the value is great, so I think they do a very good job and she is very safe at the community. Everyone we have been in contact with, has been phenomenal, so she is in good hands at the community and I'd recommend it to everyone because we have been so pleasantly surprised. It was really seamless and painless for a big life change like that.

Carolyn the Activities Director is great, she tries to think out of the box, there's a variety of activities for the residents and she tries to keep it exciting and something to look forward to. She tries really hard and does a good job. Faye the housekeeper is great and does a great job within my mother's room. Erin the day nurse and Rachel the night nurse, I just love those girls, I feel like they care for the residents, they're very caring, they're great and attentive. They are above and beyond.
