This place allows a psychotic man to live here who suffocated and killed my grandmothers cat with his bare hands. What he can do to an innocent animal scares me because what else can this man do. And the staff that works here has done nothing about it and is trying to hide and protect themselves. The man that did this is Matt Yeknik. This says a lot about this place and what they allow happens. I’d think twice before having your loved one live here. Edit: the staff is 10000% aware of what happened as well.

This place can be very toxic. I worked here and while there are ups and downs in every job, the problem I find here is that there’s not much improvement that happens in my experience. The restaurant management can be very toxic. Some of the chiefs also are pretty mean and at times yells at the servers and even each other. The HR lady herself is also mean and rude in which few can come to her for guidance. The residents here are decent and this place has some good workers, and I think management needs to do a better job at communicating with its employees. All in all, this place should do a better job to abide by its mission and values. I hope things change for the better here. Update: after seeing the recent negative review, I think it’s fair to say I don’t want to sugar coat anyone. If anyone decides to work here you really must be careful ESPECIALLY at the kitchen. It’s insane to see that despite so much problems there’s little improvement to probably no improvement happening. I do suggest going to a different place to work to save yourself the trouble. Otherwise, you better hope you’re the lucky ones in this place. I unfortunately wasn’t and they (especially the kitchen managemen) are very bias and clearly show numerous signs of unprofessional behavior. So sad, especially grown up adults are supposed to be respectful and kind. Disgraceful!

My mother has been a resident at this facility for almost 3 years. For the most part, it is a fairly welcoming environment. There are a few staff members that are wonderful and do their absolute best under the circumstances. Initially, I bought into the list of excuses for running out of food, constant turnovers and staffing issues, etc. Unfortunately, it has progressively gotten much worse. The "restaurant" as they label it is just a dining room and it is a complete DISASTER! They run out of plates on a regular basis and just struggle with the basics in general. They were out of milk last night just as one example. The wait is generally long but there are times that it can run close to 2 hours with some of the residents either leaving hungry prior to receiving their food or because they received it, and it is inedible. These people are at the end of their lives and meals are one of, if not the only thing they have to look forward to. I have brought it to the attention of management in the past and nothing has changed. It just continues to decline. They are well aware of the issues and are either unable or unwilling to make changes. Neither of those is acceptable. I plan to file a formal complaint with the state and/or anyone willing to listen. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place! Also, read the NEGATIVE reviews and you will see that some of the responses from owner are... Dear ____, thank you so much for your positive comments. We are glad we delivered such a great experience! That perfectly describes how out of touch with reality they are!

I worked for this place for 1 year and 10 months. I had 3 executive directors and 2 housekeeping supervisors in that time. I loved my job and the residents, but management did not take any of the employee or residents concerns seriously. There is such a high turn over rate for employees and residents. Everything is about budget. I was constantly told that this is the biggest Spectrum facility in Arizona, but they budget it like it is one of their smaller facilities. Management did not take into account anything both housekeeping supervisors had to say about supplies and equipment. There was only 4 housekeepers for the whole facility and that included the supervisor. When I left there was only 2 vacuum cleaners for 3 housekeepers. Now they are accusing us of taking the housekeeping schedule, but that is not true. I have a great memory and I knew the schedule like the back of my hand. Me and my mom took time out of our day after we quit to make the schedule because we love the residents. They have not had their apartments and Casitas cleaned since we left. I would seriously reconsider living or working here. We could not leave the schedule with someone and they said, "we are not allowed to be there."
