My mom was the second resident to move in and I find The Chelsea to be wonderful. The building is beautiful, the food excellent and all the staff exceptional. They work hard to make my mom feel loved and well taken care of.

I have waited almost 2 years to work at the Chelsea. I knew Michelle since I was a teenager. Hearing I would join the Chelsea completed me! I knew the impact Michelle had back in the 90''s... On the residents and family members! And I was excited to continue that credibility she had now. I know I have a calling. A calling to make the residents as happy as they can be! Treat them as if they were my own family members. Most are like family now. I must have thanked Michelle and Linda a dozen times by now. Every morning when I drive to work. I have a smile on my face. I''m sure there aren''t too many people who can say that. Any yes I''m happy because of what I do. But without a strong leaders @ the top. There would be no happy me. I am thankful and grateful & feel so blessed every day to be part of the Chelsea team! There''s also another part of this facility that without him. I don''t know where we would all be. Jim is the director of housekeeping. He''s also the glue that keeps our beautiful buildings together! Knowing he''s here as well makes me feel safe and calm! I''m telling you.... There''s nothing he can''t do! And I can assure you that our residents feel the same way! Even though I have a home... When I walk into work I feel at home! I love my job... And I love the directors that hold this gem of a place together! I''ve been meaning to write this for months but was waiting for the perfect time... And today is the perfect time.... Happy spring everyone! And one last thing... I have been in this industry since 1994... This is by FAR the best assisted living / memory care / independent living facility that I''ve been to yet... And I''m NOT going anywhere.
