when my sister first went to Chelsea there was a great chef and help, When the chef left the taste of food went down and has continually gotten worse. My sister ended up in a nursing home but I continue to visit a sister in the Lord. At one point they made a bistro for the residents to use when family members visited and to enjoy a good meal. The next thing that was noticed was staff got irritated when relatives visited and wanted to join residents. Then the rules kept changing, no more bistro only dining room, even while food options and taste continued to deteriorate. Recently they changed it to giving at least 24 hours notice. Ironically when I tell the morning receptionist is notified it doesn't get to the afternoon receptionist when she comes in and you need to call again. How do they expect to make 24 hours work? They really need to get their act together and go back to being people friendly providing opportunities for family and friends to visit. They need to go back to what worked because I find myself thinking I don't want to refer people there anymore. They also need to going back to a substitute menu or items like omelets , hot dogs, etc in addition to specials. you only have specials now. Rent has gone up tremendously and it sounds more like they can't budget money with all the increases and cut back on options provided. Many would say shame on you. You provide a service so provide it with giving, loving hearts.
