(I hope this gets to manager) I''ve came down here my whole life and parked in same spot to finish paper work in car and stair at water, I battle depression and this makes me feel at ease, (old lady(short lady short hair all black clothes just walked up to car said this is private property and I was trespassing and stated all the other parking that''s off there property except there lot (she was trying to be nasty) but I just agreed and stayed polite, kill them with kindness right? And I''m gonna post my parking spot on here to. Show you that I''m not stealing parking spot or holding someone up or loud music, I''m sure the Chamberlain gets help from city of Hampton clearly there rentals aren''t doing great since whole parking lot empty and if I was in wrong why didn''t security show up to tell me to move, I''ve meet them couple times threw out the years and if ur wrong they gonna tell ya, Ohhh yeah it was raining out too!! I wasn''t hurting anyone was I? Just curious asking for a friend ? Honestly tell me this, a old lady walks to far side of parking lot where she can''t see who is in car and coverd her eyes to try and see me threw windshield during rain but wasn''t looking for a confrontation ??? It''s ok don''t worry about me using ur parking spot,I don''t like being around nasty hateful people and also since you never asked who I was or if I had someone there ,we will be pulling my grandparents from your property too and take them to the Chesapeake ,good day 😠

The only thing wrong with The Chamberlin was that it was too pricey, and they only had independent living. The apartments were absolutely beautiful. They would be furnished. The one that we saw was not, but the staff said it was just because they were renovating that room. But looking at the other rooms, they were very well furnished. They had more living space than any of the other places, but the price was much more than anything I saw. The staff was great. She was very professional, very entertaining, and very sociable. We met several of the residents up there, and she called people by name. That was impressive because she knew who she was dealing with. She knew the residents and everything there, so that was good. She said that they only serve one meal a day, which was the issue with me. But they give you the option to buy food. The food looked good. The staff showed me their entertainment schedule, too, and it was a full house. There was plenty of stuff to do every day. There were a lot of things to do outside on your own. There's a lot more freedom. There's a walking trail that's not too far from a fishing pier. There's a restaurant close by and all sorts of things. It was more, more independent than all the rest that I saw, but it was also more expensive.
