We moved my parents into the Carlisle a year ago and could not be more pleased with the services. From the services provided, the activities, to the food-- everything is top notch. What truly makes this place stand out are the people. Everyone is thoughtful kind, professional, and goes out of their way to ensure the best care is provided at all times. We are so grateful to the entire staff every day for the care they provide our parents in this stage of life. We feel very lucky to be there.

As a new resident of The Carlisle, I was so impressed by the wonderful meals provided, I was inspired to write the Executive Chef, Chris Sheldon to tell him so. The menus are so well thought out and balanced and, need I say, delicious that I will have to be cautious about gaining weight-- but it may be worth it! Chef Chris makes a mean cioppino and on Easter we even had a perfectly prepared rack of lamb! Amazing. Thanks

My 90-year-old spouse was in need of assisted living. After researching the top line assisted living facilities in San Francisco, we chose The Carlisle for its amenities, its clientele and its staff.

On April 7th , 22 residents from the Carlisle , sat down to a Seder ceremony and dinner. Chef Chris made us a delicious traditional Passover dinner. The head of the dinning room, Lian, made sure that we received every possible item or special dishes we needed for a successful ceremony . She prepared a beautifully set, private table for us. The Activities director , Eliana , added some elegant candle sticks for the table and made 22 duplicates of the Haggadah the leader requested. The whole evening was a wonderful experience The staff truly went out of their way to make everything perfect for us. Thank you Carlisle!!!
Read moreThe Seder at the Carlisle was superb. The staff went all out in fulfilling our requests. The Chef, Larry and the rest of the kitchen staff prepared a great traditional meal. The dining room staff set up a festive table and served the diners impeccably. If I could, I''d give them ten stars.
