We chose Terrebonne Place because of the location, the friendliness of all of the staff, and the quality of care that they provided. The staff bends over backwards and they are fantastic. They are accommodating, want to help you in any way they can, and want to make the transition as smooth as possible for your loved one and the family. My siblings and I are not local so that was especially helpful having a staff that was so accommodating. I would highly recommend the facility. I cannot say enough good things about [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed].

She took all the questions I had and answered them as well as she could. She gave me more information. The one-bedrooms were nice. They were kind of spacious. The studio was a studio, but that's what's to be expected. The dining area looked like a restaurant. They didn't have anything going on at the time I was taking the tour, but I saw the calendar. They had some residents sitting in the common area watching TV. Everyone seemed really nice, and I liked the layout and the courtyards. I liked the fact that you can have a dog because my mom does have a dog, and they just seemed really helpful.

Read moreThe location of Terrebonne Place is great for our family which is very helpful. Some of the things that we were promised in the beginning have not been worked out yet. Our main disappointment is that they said they would have mass daily/weekly and they have not done that yet.

There's a patio, where they barbecue and play other games.

The main thing is that they are not geared to help diabetics at all which was a huge problem for us. Their menus did not even give options for diabetic choices. She went downhill the whole time that she was here. When I tried to speak to them, no one took the responsibility and they would just pass the book. It was a nightmare and I would not recommend them to others, it was the worst condition I had ever seen her in.
