I did a tour of TerraBella Newton. We didn't have much interaction with the staff. They do have private and semi-private rooms, and they do have a Memory Care Unit. it's a nice facility. They had a courtyard, but I don't remember a library.

They had all the amenities and they have somebody that comes in and sings and plays. They have their morning service. The apartments were more than what my brother could afford even with the military discount. Otherwise, I would have had that one. The staff was fantastic. They were pleasant. They had an entertainment space and living rooms. They had three meals a day and three snacks a day. They had outside facilities. It's safe and secure.

Cleanliness, they are always understaffed. I had to clean my fathers room weekly and take out trash. Care, he was not supported and his needs. They were understaffed is what I saw. Meals, added charges for tray service and no way to track additional costs, value, was okay but on low side due to lack of care at times. Staff, the first staff was amazing but as weeks went EVERYONE left or fired and constant change of personnel which led to lack of organization.
