Sycamore Place was and is the "right place" at the "right time" for my Mom. She is now 89 and had been in a memory care facility in AR for a couple years, however, the disease and her condition were deteriorating. She needed a higher level of care than than that facility could offer. After looking at many facility alternatives in AR and TN we selected Sycamore Place. The STAFF is GREAT, Mom's care is excellent and she seems to enjoy the facilities and interaction with others. Covid has NOT been a major problem for the residents and staff which is not the case in some other facilities. We have been at Sycamore for about two years now and our experience proves we made the "right choice" for Mom!
Read moreIt does appear that they are trying to correct some of the issues that they had early on and they are trying to improve the quality and seem to be doing better, but we did have some major issues in the beginning.
If there is an issue it is addressed very quickly and this is great. They also have really good meals. For what I am paying I am receiving very good services. I would highly recommend this community. There are other places that are less but I feel like you would have to worry and I don't worry here....

My husband has moved into Sycamore Place Alzheimer's Special Care Center and it's been a very good experience for us. He has a private room that we fixed up and it's beautiful. The staff is all very nice, very, very knowledgeable, and experienced. I like that the layout of the place is in a circle, so they can walk and wonder if they want to. The doors are locked from the outside, so you can't get into somebody else's apartment. I haven't tried the food, but he seems to be eating it fine, so he must like it. They have a lot of games, there's music that comes in, and I think they do some chair exercise. I have a couple of friends who also have people there and they like it very much. So, I'm pleased.
