Mom is enjoying Sunrise Randolph. Everyone has been very helpful in assisting mom in her new home. She is especially loving all the activities with Bridget and gets upset with us if we visit during one of them. 🤣
I have been to visit twice now and have found it to be clean, good food, pleasant and in great shape. The rooms are nice and there seemed to be a lot of happy residents there!
The actual care my mother in law received was good. There was a super sweet women in Randolph that was GREAT! The business end is poorly run. The sales people are terrible!!! They do not listen to your needs and end up putting your loved one in the wrong level of care upon admission. This has happen...
The actual care my mother in law received was good. There was a super sweet women in Randolph that was GREAT! The business end is poorly run. The sales people are terrible!!! They do not listen to your needs and end up putting your loved one in the wrong level of care upon admission. This has happened twice now at 2 different locations with two different sales people. I feel like they lowball you during the admission process and bring you in at one price for a certain level of care knowing full well that the resident needs a higher level of care (which of course costs more money). Then once the resident is there, they do an "evaluation" and tell you they need higher level of care so the price increases alot. Then you are stuck. Very expensive. We did the "2 year spend down" for close to 5 years (around $400K) in order to be eligible for Medicaid bed there. Then when time came, we were then told we had to leave that location because no Medicaid bed was available. VERY poor system in place for planning purposes when it comes to Medicaid rooms in my opinion. Ended up moving to different Sunrise location that had a Medicaid bed available which threw our mother into a tailspin because she is unfamiliar with the location and the people there.....very sad.

This seems to be a great addition to Sunrise’ social activities, and Bridgette should be recognized for all of her hard work in developing this, as well as the beautiful decor at the facility.
