My parents moved into Sunrise of Burlington about a year and a half ago. My dad recently passed. The attention, care, kindness that they both and our family have and still receive from all members of the staff, is second to none. The facility is always bright, clean, well maintained and I know it feels like home to my mom, even after losing my dad, her husband of 71 years. I can''t recommend Sunrise highly enough!

This place was a disaster for my father in law. They were less than compassionate about my FIL’s struggles to adjust to moving there. Rather than help him adjust they gave us a choice of going to memory care (which is was not quite ready for cognitively) or pay for around the clock supervision. The administration cares more about money and covering their butts legally than care. He lasted about six week’s there before we had to move him out. Then his adjustment period had to start over at a much more caring facility. Stay away from this place

My parents were there around ten years. Place was fine until my mom needed a higher level of care, which in my opinion, exposed many serious problems. Very high turnover in key positions while they were there. Parents much happier at new facility. The four executive directors whom I got to know quite well over the years were exceptionally nice, but overall I recommend avoiding the facility.

My mom has been in Sunrise of Burlington. She considers it her home. There are some really good people and some really bad people. Her room is OK, and it's a beautiful building. The grounds are also beautiful. They have a person that's in charge of the recreation. So before COVID, they had their own bus to take people out to different restaurants and shopping, and they provided a lot of stuff. Just since COVID, everything's been off. It's on the same road as the Leahy hospital, so the location is convenient. They had Bible study, arts and crafts, bingo, and exercises, which were her favorite.

I toured Sunrise of Burlington MA for my mom. It was fresh, clean, and open. It looked like they're either very well kept, or they just did a renovation or remodel; everything looked very nice. The staff was very helpful, as they all are, nothing out of the ordinary. With Covid, we weren't able to try any food or anything there. It was a walkthrough and if I remember correctly, the dining area seemed very nice. I think they had the amenities that you would expect.

I don''t even know where to begin besides saying thank you! My grandfather was a stoic Army veteran who drove tanks in Korea who always told me he wanted nothing to do with nursing homes/assisted livings when he was older. This all changed when he was living with the Sunrise Crew in Burlington, he had nothing but positive interactions and good things to say everyday. There were times when I couldn''t take him out to lunch because he wanted to eat with everyone in the main area so I could meet his friends (staff, residents, etc). For myself and my family, we want to thank you again!
