This place is simply amazing. I call it a hidden gem. The acute inpatient rehabilitation center staff are amazing!! They took great care of my daughter during her 30 day stay. She made impressive strides while being there. The staff truly cared about her and her recovery. They treated all of us so well and made the transition go smoothly. I hope she is able to go back after her last round of chemotherapy. I highly recommend this place!

My mother was admitted to MVHS Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in January 2024 to get her back on her feet after an illness. I felt she got good care, PT was awesome, mom said the food was good, and staff was friendly. I guess my only complaint was I felt they were very short staffed as most places are today. I didn''t like how staff members would come and turn off the call light claiming to be right back and then never returned. I say if you can''t help immediately then leave the call light on so other staff are aware that patient still needs help so they are not forgotten. The Facility was clean.

if you want to watch the abuse and mistreatment of your loved ones, bring them here. pain means nothing to these cruel people. you''ll get eye rolls requesting compassionate, responsible care, that should be intuitive and inevitable. they would rather treat these elderly people like trash, than grace them with a shred of dignity. i strongly advise anyone to not allow your loved ones here. especially if they suffer from dementia. my grandmother does not — however what I''ve witnessed in their treatment of dementia patients is abhorrent. this is not ''care'' in any sense of the word. this place should be shut down, for the way they treat the elderly. was told my grandma wasn''t allowed to lay in bed to quell her pain, because she had to go eat dinner, and couldn''t eat it in bed. mind you, she had to go to the bathroom "real bad," which requires getting her into bed, so after finally begrudgingly agreeing to briefly put her into bed, then mandating she get back out immediately (causing far more pain, for no reason), all to eat food she shouldn''t be consuming (she has chrone''s disease, yet no mention of that or any dietary restrictions on her food card — feeding her high fodmap foods every day, needlessly making her suffer even more) i was told that her urgent bathroom break had to wait, because the ''nurse'' had to ''do something first.'' what was it he had to do you ask? go out to his car and smoke a cigarette. this place is a joke. if it were simply my grandmother who was being horrifically mishandled, i would probably keep my mouth shut, and just get her out. but if you have a loved one here, they are being treated like they''re already dead. get them out, immediately.
