My poor grandma passed here. I''ll never forget the last day I saw her. It was the end of the year in 2017. She was sitting in her poop for hours. Staff stated they were understaffed and couldn''t help her. Would you like to be sitting in your feces for hours?!? I don''t care how understaffed you are. I yelled at them until they helped her. You are a pricey home for elderly and they don''t deserve that type of treatment. She passed away at the beginning of 2018. I''ll never forget this place and how horrible they treated my grandma.

My Standard Poodle and I moved into Saint Johns On The Lake on the 9th of March 2020. On the 15th of March to gates slammed shut with Covid 19 taking over every part of our life. The staff was remarkable. Frequently there would be a bag at our front door. It could be a split of Prosecco , with cheese and special crackers or something really devine to have with cofffee for breakfast . Thoughtful gestures to keep our spirits up. And it worked! I have now lived here for over two years and thank my lucky stars that I signed up when I did. The new buildings offer incredable spaces for our full range of lectures, movies, and classes. The pool and gym rank with the best of spas. I could go on, but I think that the five stars will speak for themselves.

My mom was blessed to live out her finals days here. She said that God had "let her be a queen" by living there. And she was cared for like a queen. Thank you Saint John''s for your great care of my mom and me.
