Was transferred there from Another affiliated hospital. The care I received from ALL of the nursing staff was amazing! The employees of the cafeteria were also amazing- went beyond helping me. If I had one complaint it would be the hospitalist assigned to me. There was a language barrier and he didn''t have the care and compassion I think he should have had. But the hospital was amazing and I am typing this now as I wait to be transported there again today.

Set for an hour and the waiting room, move to the back where I was asked to leave my underaged daughter because she had covid and I wasn''t allowed in the room with her even though I drove her set with her in the waiting room and will be taking her home to take care of her. This is all due to a comment from a nurse not the hospital. When I made the comment I''ll go back out to the waiting room she stuck her finger up and told me I needed to go to the truck that I was not allowed in the waiting room even though that''s where I''ve been sitting for an hour.

My 10yr old special needs son was seen here yesterday for outpatient surgery, and the entire team of those looking after him, did a fantastic job. They took their time to explain everything to him, in a way he could understand, so he wouldn''t be so scared. His nurse gave him a stuffed monkey and even allowed him to "drive" his way to the OR, which was a nice touch. Every one came in and introduced themselves and explained that their job was on the team. They took my phone number and regularly updated me throughout the procedure; I was also given a card with a number to follow along. I went to gift shop and the volunteer was extremely helpful. The cafeteria could use a little help though. I was quite hungry and their wasn''t many choices ( other than grab and go''s). Maybe it was just the time of day, or supply chain issues. Afterwards I was taken back to see him and his aftercare team was amazing too. They went through the paperwork with me, so I knew what to expect. This was our first time at the Ft. Thomas location, and left being a positive one. Thank you all very much 🙂
