This is an amazing nursing and rehab facility. The therapists are all very caring and committed to helping you to heal and recover so you are capiable to return home. I broke all the bones in my ankle and i required a facility before and after my surgery. The nursing staff and CNA''s cared about my pain and comfort level. The assistants were very respectful of my privacy. The food is very good and if you don''t like what''s on the menu they offer many other options. The dining room staff is friendly and polite. There is absolutely no smell of urine, it is a very clean place. If I ever need to rehab again I would return to this facility. There are no facilities where you will find all workers who are 100% polite and caring and find staff that does not make mistakes but I found a small amount of people here that were like that.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Springside. I had my brother transferred to Springside (with the help of two awesome gals) from a nursing home around Boston so we could be closer to him which would enable us to see him often. I was amazed when we went to see him. Springside was so bright and cheerful. The place was exceptionally clean (so unlike the place he had come from). The administrator, Denise, was personable and caring and had everything prepared when we got there. The nurses and staff were very caring and took care of Brad’s needs. They even had him on a special mattress for his comfort. Since my brother was blind I would often call the nurses station and ask them to go to his room and change the channel so he could hear his Celtics and Red Sox play. They were very accommodating. Also my brother Brad was not able to feed himself or cut up his food and every meal a nurse/aid was there to feed him. I highly 100% recommend this wonderful nursing home that actually cares for their patients. Thank you everyone at Springside that took care of my brother. I take comfort in the fact that he was in such good hands when he passed. I can’t thank you all enough.

Nursing homes/rehab centers aren''t typically the happiest places for obvious reasons, but Springside SNF of Pittsfield is different. My Dad is 87 years old and suffers from advanced Parkinson''s disease. When he was kicked out of his assisted living facility last December, he was a mess. He was frozen in his wheelchair, failing cognitively, slurring his words and had trouble completing the simplest tasks. He has improved tremendously since coming to Springside and it''s only because of the professionalism and kindness of its staff. While his condition will never go away, he has recovered to an extent I never thought possible. I am extremely grateful to Jessica, Denise, Vanessa, the physical therapists, the nurses, CNAs, and all of Springside''s staff for helping my Dad enjoy life again.

A huge THANK YOU to all the hardworking staff who were attentive and cheerful as they took care of my husband. He was there for 19 days for rehab during Covid dilemmas and lack of enough staff, but everyone did their best to take care of him under these circumstances. Administration was helpful when requests were made. PT was excellent and many times went above and beyond their role in helping him. His room was pleasant and he had a kind roommate. We highly recommend Springside!
