Our Dad has been in the memory care unit for almost two years. Everyone is so kind. They do a wonderful job of caring for him and the other residents. They are always doing fun activities and the food is delicious! It gives such peace of mind.

This place is horrible. My aunt has NEVER received the right medications. When we figured this out OURSELVES and confronted the staff their responses are "we just work here." When we dug further we were told that the scripts they received were not clear so they just didn''t give her those medications - they didn''t bother to contact us or the doctor for clarification, they just ignored it. My aunt had multiple health issues as a result of this. They never answer the phone, it just rings until it times out and disconnects and you have to call back. This happens any time, day or night. If you call someone''s direct line and leave a message, you never get a return call. They tell you wonderful things to get you to come here then, once you''ve moved in your family member, you see the truth. Every employee there is MISERABLE, they are constantly understaffed, never answer phones, will not return voicemails. Once we did more research, we also found that every time they were about to be "fined" for violations, they just rename the place and rebrand. If you care about your loved one, stay as far away from this place as possible. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Yes, I am very aware of where my aunt lived, right down the road from the Food Lion, formerly known as Spring Arbor before the current rebranding to Brookstone. As stated, when you are "about to be ''fined'' for violations, you just rename the place and rebrand." And no, your recent reviews on google, other review sites, social media, and via word of mouth are not positive. I would recommend instead of focusing on rennovations and cosemtic upgrades to cover up poor quality, instead do something to improve communication, resident care, resident experiences, and hire people who actually WANT to do the job, care about people, and aren''t just there to collect a paycheck and use "I just work here" as an excuse to not even have to do the bare minimum. And have people ANSWER PHONES AND RETURN CALLS, I cannot count how many times we tried to call the main number day or night and it would just ring and ring and finally disconnect or, we left numerous messages when someone finally did pick up and no return call. You took the problems that were already there and just splashed new paint on them.

Unscheduled visit to Spring Arbor Thomasville My sister and I made an unexpected visit to Spring Arbor Thomasville about a week ago. The staff there was very welcoming and volunteered to let us tour the memory care area. We need to move our sister from the current facility where she is because we are truly concerned about her welfare there I also had conversations with TINA. it was very informative and helpful and put our sister on your waitlist. We have been informed that we might want to hold off on any of this until this virus situation is under control. We still intend To follow up and are in the process of filing for Medicaid at this point.
