I’m a former worker and I thought it was a great place to work until I knew two of the DON’s don’t care and they hide things and don’t get rid of a person that is a danger to other residents. There are three absolutely great people Desiree in Hr our scheduler Erica ( who is absolutely over worked) and Heather the ADON ( who is amazing and has a big heart). Patients have no rights and Linda the Activity Director lets residents play very inappropriate movies and saids there all adults and if the other residents don’t like it they don’t have to be in there. The administrator you ask to speak with her and leave a note and it is ignored. They will find every which way to cover there butt. They acknowledge the worst workers there and give employee of the month to the laziest but don’t give gold stars to the ones that kick butt and have a big mouth to say what’s going on. I’ll probably get a no trespass for this review but no one wanted to ever listen to me and another one. I will always protect and serve the lord and working here really is bad because of two DONs. I was told I make it a toxic work environment but I just voice and don’t shut up. If you put your family here it’s a beautiful place but you have to be on them for certain things.

My husband had a fractured femur, crushed his hip socket, and broke his pelvis. He entered Spanish Trails with an 18" rod that ran the length of his femur, a plate, 9 screws, and an anchor. We had excellent care from everyone we came in contact with, whether they were part of our care team or not. He ate healthy meals, received his medication on time, and as needed. Ray was super helpful in working with our insurance and the hospital to ensure we could make the transition as easy as possible. Ritchey from PT should get a gold star for noticing my husband was strong enough for some specialized exercises. When my husbands staples needed to come out, it was his care team who made the call to his previous Doctors to get the approval we needed and they removed them on site at Spanish Trails, but offered transport if necessary. We had anticipate a 10 day to 3 week stay but are now looking at an early release with some care at home which they helped set up. I would highly recommend Spanish Trails to anyone, whether it''s for injury rehabilitation or long term care. Thank you Spanish Trails you''re the best!

I just got to say that Estela is such an amazing person. Awesome customer service and has the best personality.

I went to visit family at this facility and was greeted by another resident screaming at the top of his lungs while the nursing staff ignored him. I was told this behavior is normal. Sorry but that''s not ok and my MIL should not have to listen to someone screaming her recovery. Multiple help lights were on in the hall during our entire visit, there was no one at the front desk, and no one checked on us. Disappointing.
