I was quickly treated and diagnosed with HAPE. The nurses and staff checked on me very often and the doctor I saw was so nice, well-mannered, and caring. I am grateful for this hospital! They saved me!

Read moreGreat ER staff and Dr. along with RN were very informative and showed great concern for my wife having an allergic reaction. Grateful for them this Thanksgiving weekend.
Honestly thought I would die here and the doctor seemed to be more concerned with my political affiliation for not being vaccinated yet vs focusing on the ailment that could have ended my life. Honestly it is like the village of the danged here. Avoid if you value your life.

I was admitted to the SIHD emergency room on 10/26 ("under my own steam") after falling and hitting the back of my head on a rock during a hike (and bleeding all over my shirt collar.) While I was probably a little hyper about the incident (they termed me "feisty" to my son), I was treated cordially and with the utmost respect and professionalism. Kudos to ER pros Ann & Michael who treated me with grace and dignity, and to Dr. Kennedy who patched me up and reassured me before sending me on my way. This was as good an experience as I could have asked for in what was a most unfortunate situation for me.
Read moreNo complaints at all - the ER doc took her time, everyone was unfailingly kind and friendly, and I got the best care they could provide short of a specialist.
