In the beginning it was ok our mom was there for over 12 years but then it became the worst place ever! Our mom was neglected by this facility after being left laying in bed in urine and stool and not being turned like she should have when the pandemic happened we could not go and see her and they took advantage of that. Before all of this she could sit up and talk, laugh exc…. she was fine every time you turned around they had different staff working there. Different people supposedly caring for your loved ones. Our mom suffered due to being septic from a bed sore that started the size of a quarter and then got as bad as a man’s fist not only that she also had a pressure ulcer on her heal. It was so hard seeing her like this with these horrific and careless traumatizing wounds on her. She fought a long fight until her body couldn’t fight anymore in 2021 we lost her due to becoming septic from the neglect. I would not suggest this facility to ANYONE!! we hate this place with a passion. I can not even go in the area because it hurts thinking about how bad off she was when she passed away, just as the bed sore started to heal her body could not take anymore and we lost her. Our mom was a beautiful lady who was strong and fought a long hard fight they never owned up to what they did to her so we had to fight for her. I despise Gandy Crossing please stay away. RIP mom I Love you

My relative has been lovingly cared for, for almost two years. She is heavy, and bedridden, and they keep her clean and fresh, so never an Oder or bedsore. The staff is consistently friendly, kind and patient. They have had to evacuate twice, (due to hurricane risks), and enabled her to feel safe, and as if on an adventure. The location is also convenient, (4 blocks from a decent hotel, and near groceries, Walmart, Restaurants and Public Transportation which makes visiting by out-of-town guests easier. I appreciate Gandy Crossing.

They shouldn''t be there if they can''t do their job! I filed a grievance report with the administration. Yet they didn''t fire that lazy person. 😒 I don''t think they even disciplined her she was walking the hallway when I left. Very disappointed in this facility.

"Do not judge a book by its cover"! We had an amazing experience in his Rehabilitation Center. My father was transferred from Tampa General Hospital to Gandy after a fall that resulted in a hip fracture. The facility staff went to meet with us at the hospital and went over all the services that they provided and explain to what to expect. The first night was VERY rough but everything fell into place. The physical therapists were outstanding. We had a meeting every week so we can get updates of his progress. They gave us the proper resources so we can be successful at home which made the transition very smooth for us. THANK YOU, GANDY CROSSING, for all you guys did for me.

My grandmother has aggressive cancer. She is placed here due to a fall fracturing her pelvis and therefore unable to be in her home and placed here. This facility has zero bedside manner, lacks in cleanliness, can’t figure out medications at all or on time which is so important, has terrible communication in all ways verbal, in person, no one ever answers the phone and if they do… they don’t listen, cut you off and put you back in the queue loop to nowhere because that’s how this place is. They don’t care about your loved one, they treat them with disrespect and how this place continues to exist is beyond me. It difficult to relocate her and is disappointing to say the least. If I could, I would rate this a zero star.
