My Dad was their for 5 days. They called to tell me he passed away. There was no empathy at all. Not even a sorry for your loss. All the nurse wanted to know was he going to the morgue or to the funeral home. It made me feel like they don''t care about the people there. Just there to get a paycheck....

I will say was always greeted when we walked in and the nurse I spoke to was nice. Just that last impression sticks in my head.

It took me several years to finally post my experience with Signature. They lied saying it had a 5 star rating when in fact, it was only from Medicare and Medicaid, not from how they treat patients and their families. When they brought her to the facility from the hospital, the first thing we saw was a roach on the ceiling. When my daughter needed cleaning, it took them a great while to clean come clean her up. When it was finally time for her to be released to go home, we were not given proper instructions for her care, even though I asked repeatedly. She was not given the proper amount of medication for her to take until she could get refills from outside pharmacies. As a result, my daughter died 10 days later. The discharging nurse was extremely rude when I was simply trying to get information on how to care for her once she left there. If I could give them a minus five, I most certainly would. Maybe they’ve changed since then if the ratings now are any indication. In 2020, it was 1.5. But please be cautious. Do your homework before sending a family member there. If the office hasn’t changed, it’s doubtful the facility has changed that much either.

Was seeking placement for a relative and decided to call Signature. I was lost in the whole process but the staff I spoke with gave me so much help and pointed me in the right direction. Their understanding and kind words will forever sit with me. Anytime someone is looking for a nursing home for a loved one I always recommend this place. Unfortunately my relative needed a memory care unit so they weren’t able to go there but I left feeling very helped. There are some very compassionate people working out there.
