Do not go to this hospital if you can avoid it... Just saying... They are not there for patient care, just there to get a check.. No one was rude, but they act like it''s a morgue...

ER staff is not professional or accommodating. They waste your time and then charge exorbitant fees. They wont answer simple questions like what the current wait time for intake of a patient is over the phone, they would rather you be forced to drive down and be disappointed in person. If it’s busy just say it’s busy, dont lie and force people to waste their time when they could just be honest and allow those people the choice to drive somewhere else. The low reviews speak volumes, if you take away their employees upvoting the rating they would be a one star hospital. The very definition of corporatized medicine. Profits over people right?

This hospital is the worst hospital I know of!! My mother was in this hospital and needled an angiogram they didn''t even do!! Instead sent her home next day! My mom suffered another heart attack because of sierra view hospitals negligence. We had her taken to another hospital outside the area and emergency room doctors found blockage in an artery!! Sierra View almost cost My mother her life. Do not go to this hospital even if you have a broken leg. Nobody there is qualified to treat a broken toe.

I have come here multiple times for heart related problems and even after multiple diagnosis they have the audacity to discharge and just simply tell me to “come back” and that “i’m fine” even though i’m physically not. Ridiculous. I’m absolutely infuriated. Can’t help me or my dad. How are they still in business? Just go to visalia.

There are so many facets to a hospital and the care one receives. I have had both good and bad experiences and moments at this hospital. Most of the doctors and nurses are wonderful. They care, they mean well and in general try to be helpful. There are times when they are not the most congenial and I think that is to be expected. It''s a big undertaking with a whole lot of patients and a revolving door. Sometimes things get missed or overlooked and other times the attention to detail is commendable. My father has had several extended stays at Sierra View and overall it has been a positive experience. We have had our share of let downs and it''s been a real eye opener as to how hospitals work. They are not a charity. That''s a tough pill to swallow. If you think you can take your loved one to any hospital and have them 24/7 at your loved ones bedside you will be disappointed. It''s a rotation. They are VERY busy and ALL of the patients deserve time. It''s imperative to advocate on behalf of your loved one and stay on top of what''s going on. Be present! My biggest complaint would be the lack of cleanliness in the rooms. Just a bit unclean in my opinion. Broken blinds, fixture covers, clogged plumbing, debris on the floor, etc. I think they could use some attention in that area. I hope this helps someone out.
