i was appalled, to begin with, at the outside asthetics of the building. it looks like a ghetto! no signage for where to park, entrance, etc. the "covid station" was a joke! there was a thermometer with no disposable covers, a sign in sheet, there were no masks or face shields (which we were required to wear) and a bottle of hand sanitizer. the building is dark and dreary inside. the residents looked unkempt and disheveled. the only staff to help were two male attendants, who WERE helpful (thank you!) i dont see how anyone could get better in this "supposed" skilled facility! I am a CNA myself, and I was shocked at what i witnessed!! God bless the staff with hearts to stay in that place! They are what is holding it together, because its truly not the administration or maintenance!! i wouldn''t send anyone here, least of all a beloved family member!!
