My sister was a resident of Seymour Place. It was good, and they were good to her. They were friendly, and they took care of her. It was probably a little too large for her, but that's what she wanted, and it was a nice room. They had a variety of rooms. She could pick from whatever she wanted, but she wanted a large room, and then once she got in it, she didn't like it because it was too big. She was ill when she went in, she was able to walk, but went down very quickly. In the back there, you could go outside and sit. They had benches and picnic tables; it was a very nice place. They had two nice and big dining rooms. They were very expensive.

I went to Seymour Place to visit and take a tour of it. Their manager took us around and showed us a room that she had available. It looked good and we like everything about it, but my brother and sister-in-law want to stay in Columbus, and they didn't want to go to Seymour. Also they charge extra if they need extra help depending on their healthcare. However, the people that were there were really friendly and really nice, and they've checked with me a few times to make sure I had them placed, so it was a really nice place. The staff members seem very friendly and upbeat, the place is nice looking, and it is a nice location, too. I would love to put them there, but they didn't want to go.

Seymour Place was a nice place. I haven't found any problems with them. Our experience was very good. The person who was our conductor that day still sends me cards in the mail. Every holiday I get a card from her. It's been two years ago since we were there. They're just very sweet. We only had one person that was with us the whole time. It didn't seem like they were staffed very heavily or else it was just a low day that they didn't have many people there. The conductor knew what she was talking about, she had the figures down, and she was well versed. The rooms were very small and that's the reason why we didn't go any further with them, and everything they had was very, very far from the dining room. Everything close to the dining room was taken and taken for a long time. We had no chance of getting anything close to the dining room. The facility was very clean, and there was somebody always cleaning there when we were there that afternoon. There wasn't a smell of a nursing home. They had a beauty shop and anything you would want really. Outside trade people come in, religious preachers come in, they have groups that come in and sing for them, a lot of entertainment comes in, and they had a lot of card games. A lot things go on there.
Read moreI recommend anyone who lives in or needs to receive Assisted Living Care to move into Seymour Place. My loved one had a pet dog that was allowed to live here with my Aunt. Customer service was top notch. Clean, neat place to live. Compassionate caregivers!
