Tour went well, went with another option for our loved one.
There is more people and more staff checking on our loved one, talking and visiting with her. There is constantly different things happening, and based on our experience we would recommend the Senior Haven to other families.
This community is doing the best that they can. There a lot of issues in this type of field right now. I checked a lot of places and some of them even went out of business due to staffing. I feel like they are doing the best that they can during this day and age. The tour was very good.
Family member was resident for short time. Services were not as described on admit. Limited coordination with outside services. Lack of trained staff for med management. Nursing staff not available when needed. No social activities for residents for entire length of stay.
My family member had been moved in for a month when they suffered a major medical event. Was sent back to facility after a short hospital stay. Did not receive meds at appropriate times. Was not checked on or toileted or bathed regularly. I will always feel guilt that we placed family member in this...

My family member suffered in pain needlessly while Nursing staff made excuses and showed little regard to basic care. This place is a nightmare if you want quality care for your loved ones.
