The administrator is very knowledgeable and responds to concerns diligently. I love that the therapy dept constructs newsletters about success stories. It’s one of the newest nursing homes in the county and and has been recently renovated so its definitely appealing to the eye.

I want to preface two things. 1. I rarely leave bad reviews 2. Management was initially helpful, and Some of the nursing staff cared. Management even did a follow up call after the first time my family member had to leave due to an emergency situation. However, The pictures were taken 24 hours after the silverware and the mess was made in that room. There was no cleaning of said room or bathroom. The last picture is of the main desk in the middle. My family member experienced a fall ( left unattended to because the check-in nurse deemed them as needing minimal care) , she was checked in 4 days after being in the ICU and falling several times. After the fall at stallings she was taken to the ER. Though they cleaned her room before she got back, they did not clean the bathroom where some of the incident occurred. I will not post that picture. Some staff are regularly on their phones, playing games while residents sit idly next to them. I have worked in this industry before and understand the grueling task that it can be to provide care in this manner. While management was very communicative and wanted to help us with a transfer, communication between departments seems to be muddled. Again, I recognize the tough job of system communications, but this is an industry that deals specifically with quality of life. All in all, several of the nurses were kind and recognized my family member’s specific needs. They are pretty specific. None the less, I have only mentioned the general issues that we experienced at Stallings. In looking for quality care for a loved one who needs long term rehab or short term, I would recommend to find care elsewhere. It’s a hard task to be an advocate for your family member needing care. Be willing to travel a distance in order for your family member to receive quality care. It’s what you would want done for you. Update: Upon discharge they have lost some of my family members clothes, her walker, and realized that they kept some of her medication. Again, these are some major issues! Update a week and a half later: They still have not located her clothes, or walker.

Amazing place to take your mother or grandmothe & the care the nurses give. They go above & beyond!!! CNAs are amazing as well! Asked them to do something & they did it without hesitation
It is a hard thing to place one of your parents in a nursing rehab facility. The staff was very considerate of my family’s feelings. They have taken very good care of my mother
