DON''T DO IT! "When someone tells you who you are, believe them!" This is the most uncaring, lazy, incompetent staff of a skilled care facility that I have ever seen (and I''ve seen a lot of them) in 35 years. The lack of communication, responsiveness, and follow through is astounding. I called the director about my relative 25 days ago. I have yet to receive a return phone call. When I called back, the young lady who answered the phone was rude and, there was someone nearby who whispered "Just hang up!" They committed to running a medical test 3 months ago. It still has not been done. Wound care is awful. Take your own cleaning supplies. Check on your loved ones OFTEN. Put everything in WRITING. Ask for a weekly or monthly care conference but be ready for the key staff to be MIA or one the phone. I am on the verge of hiring an investigator--it is THAT BAD! My loved one made this decision and I respect it but I am sorry that they have since declined and are no longer able to comprehend how bad it is. The people MOST in need of services like this DESERVE BETTER!

The last review isn’t lying ! Close this place DOWN. I use to work here and when I say they don’t care , they DONT care. Lazy. Not helpful. Only care about a check. Will literally be on the phone , on a phone call. Air pods / headphones in ear. Get mad when someone needs changed , will say they can do it themselves or make them wait. Literally about 10 ppl had a UTI. When state comes , everyone knows , so everything is normal. Residents screaming. Laying on bloody sheets for weeks , if u truly LOVE your family. DO NOT. I repeat. DO NOT. Place them here.

The unit we saw at Gardens of Scioto was assisted living. The bedroom, the living area, the bathroom, and the way it was set up were all very nice. We only saw one woman over there at the time, and she was very helpful and explained any questions we had, and showed us around the unit. There was one that was furnished to be shown with their furniture set up. It was kind of an off time when we went. It wasn't the regular person that would have shown us the unit. It was a lady from the nursing home side that showed us around. We had more interaction with the nursing home people from where we first came in the door. She was very helpful, and she got a hold of this other woman to take me to the other end. It was a nice visit and it made us feel very comfortable. They weren't pushy to get us to move there, which I appreciated right there. They were just, "This is what we have. You can make up your own mind," which I liked. They were very helpful. The facilities were nice. They had a sliding glass door on the backside of each unit where you could go out to a grassy area where you could bring your pets. They allow pets and we have two little dogs that we just couldn't get rid of or leave behind. The layout and the cleanliness were excellent. I didn't find anything wrong with the place.
