I worked at Sandy Health and Rehab for a little under a year as the Director of Social Services. The support and comradery I felt working in the management team has been substantial. Working there I have felt that they have treated me like a person instead of an employee allowing for a solid work life balance. I want to personally mention the Administrator Dennis, who has been one of my favorite supervisors; through my 10 years of social work. I was provided with a unique opportunity to grow and develop my professional ability. I now move forward on to my next adventure with a new and polished utility belt of skills that can be applied to my future endeavors.

I have worked here for 11 years in various departments. We have a great team working hard to meet the needs of our residents. Our therapy department is terrific! They work with patients to help them return home and be successful and with long term patients to continue strengthening!! Activities department helps patients have quality of life and have confidence in themselves!! Life is tough for our patients….none of them want to need a long term care facility. Social service department works with patients mental and social struggles. Nursing is amazing and makes sure patients are cared for medically. Our communication could be improved for sure. We have staffing challenges that seems to be common problem currently. But overall we have a great team that works well together for the benefit of our residents.

The staff truly loves the patients and trys to meet their needs. COVID has made it hard to keep everyone happy but we are all trying and doing the best we can.
